The Neverending Story II movie goofs

  1. See it. There are continuity errors with the terrain and the destruction around the Ivory Tower. Before Xayide gets "captured" and goes on the Xobile trip, she is looking out her window and witnesses the terrain breaking up. Later, while traveling in the Xobile, the terrain around the Ivory Tower looks pristine at one point in time only to revert back to a destroyed landscape once again.
  2. See it. At the beginning of the movie, Bastian wears the Auryn on a dark leather strap. The strap turns into a gold chain at the scene where Bastian enters the Xobile, and it continues to be gold throughout the rest of the movie.
  3. See it. There is a rainbow in the ending scene when Bastian jumps from the cliff to go home. In nature, the outer color of the arc is always red and the inner color is violet. This scene has the colors in reverse order. A possible explanation is that we are seeing a secondary rainbow, in which the colors are actually reversed in nature. Since we don't actually see the primary rainbow in the scene, I will submit this as a goof.
